Situated at the center of Tangshan Bay Eco-city, Beijing Caofeidian International Vocational Education City is jointly invested and developed by China Pocy Group and Tangshan Caofeidian Development Investment Group Corporation. The project covers an area of 197,000 km2 and costs ¥38 billion in total. By ways of building, relocating and retrofitting, and through integrating school with enterprise, education with city and industry with city, it plans to introduce educational resources both home and abroad and thereupon creates 17 internationalized vocational institutions to cluster 200,000 people in the educational zone of the city. In response to the Belt and Road Initiative, it is designed to be the national hub in supplying blue-collar workers and will be further forged as the Chinese Craftsman Valley -- the cradle of vocational education and craftsman. At present, Tangshan Experimental Vocational School and Caofeidian College of Technology have began enrolling students.
